This is another series of resource book for teachers published by Longman, which provides additional vocabulary practice activities and games to reinforce intermediate level students’ acquisitions of English vocabulary. Intermediate Vocabulary Games is slightly different from Elementary Vocabulary Games posted previously in that although it still covers concrete, everyday or situational vocabulary as those mostly presented in the elementary book, it offers more abstract and descriptive vocabulary entries such as those to describe feelings and sensations or to describe objects or scenery. The book is also supplied with vocabulary used in more complex topics or issues such as crime and education, which meets the need of intermediate learners of English.

    Intermediate Vocabulary Games includes:
    • 30 units of photocopiable games for intermediate learners of English
    • 3 games in each unit: a memorizing game, a personalizing game, and a communication game
    • Pairwork, small group, and whole class activities
    • Teacher’s note on how to manage the game
    • Photocopiable pictorial rule sheets to guide students doing the games
